“I DON’T KNOW ABOUT MY INNER CHILD,
BUT MY INNER COOKIE MONSTER IS DEFINITELY AWAKE”
- Unknown
I never watched sesame street but I do know that there's a character named cookie monster. From what I know, he just always eats cookies.
My friends call me the same thing... "cookie monster" since I am a self-declared cookie addict. I mean, come on. It's like the most comforting food ever. Its a treat that instantly lifts me up.
Of course, nothing beats the goodness of a freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. Yes, my favourite among all the cookies is chocolate-chip cookies. A place that serves cookies fresh baked goodies is Purple Oven.

Look at that... IT'S DIPPED IN DARK CHOCOLATE!!!! 2 favourites of mine - chocolate chip cookies and dark chocolate. Yum!
Although for those of you who are not a fan of dark chocolate, don't worry. I'm sure you'll like this too. It's not too bitter. The cookie is actually pretty sweet but not too sweet that you would need to drink a glass of water after every bite. I have a feeling that this cookie would taste better if you dipped it in milk. Sadly, I was unable to try it because I ate it inside the office.

Even with its label of "Freshly Baked!", you might still doubt if it really is. Well, I'm here to tell you that its true. When I entered the store early in the morning, I can hear the ticking of the oven timer and I saw the staff pulling out some pastries from the oven. If that doesn't show you that its freshly baked daily, I don't know what will. Here's the time schedule of when their pastries come out of the oven.

I went in the Purple Oven branch in Legaspi Village, Makati City. I'm unsure if other branches have this time table but you'll see it once you entered the store.
