As my mom and I walked around Greenbelt with empty stomachs, we decided to eat in Cyma. It has been quite sometime since we went back to this restaurant. We ordered a salad, a chicken, and a gyro.
ROCA SALATA
arugula, romaine, sun-dried tomato, candied walnuts, parmigiano reggiano with traditional greek vinaigrette
(solo Php360)

The salad is good, as recommended by the waiter. It was tossed with a little dressing, which did not overpower the taste of the salad. We just ordered a solo since we have other dishes coming in. But their solo order is actually good for 2. We felt a little stuffed after the salad but there's still enough space in our tummy for the chicken and the gyro.
KOTOPOULO LEMONATO braised lemon oregano chicken, with garlic and evoo
(Php580)

Honestly, I found the chicken a little dry but if you have a grumbling stomach like mine, you won't mind it when you're there. Although, it still tasted good. Would have been better if it was a little moist but its fine. It was a light meal with some heavy potatoes.
CHICKEN GYRO
homemade pita wrap with tzatziki, onions, parsley, tomatoes, lettuce, and choice of meat
(Php330)

Since the time we had dinner was about 8-9pm, I decided to order chicken instead of lamb or steak because its lighter. At the first few bites, all I tasted was lettuce which made me feel disappointed. But after about 3 bites and I reached the portion of the meat, I realised that the rest of the gyro was filled with chicken, and of course a little vegetables. It was not a disappointing dish unlike other restaurants that serve gyro-like dishes that is actually filled with vegetables instead of the meat you ordered. By the way, the dish is originally served with this red spicy sauce. If you're like me who cannot stand spicy food, then it's best if you request for their garlic yogurt dressing. It actually complements the taste of the gyro. Overall, I give this dining experience a thumbs up... or am I just too hungry at that time? HAHAHA
