One random day, my aunt invites us to go to Tagaytay with her. She has a free overnight stay in One Tagaytay Place. We went up on the afternoon of August 31st. Since it was pretty late (around 5pm) and my brother and I haven't eaten lunch, we decided to do a pitstop in Kenny Rogers in SLEX. Sadly, we were too full to eat when we reached Tagaytay so we bummed around the hotel that night.
The next day, after a long sleep, we checked out of the hotel and headed to Bag of Beans.

Hot Chocolate (Php145)
☆☆☆☆☆

This drink is so delicious. You can taste the thickness and the bitterness of the tablea chocolate and yet it isn't that thick when you drink it. By the way, they even sell tablea in the cafe.
Tablea (Php 170)
5pcs per roll

Shepherd's Pie (Single Php 150)
☆☆☆☆

Since this is our first meal of the day (even if it was already around 2pm), we ordered a small appetiser. We ordered my aunt's favourite, shepherd's pie. It is delicious. Although I think it is something we can make at home, except for the sauce.
Breakfast Sampler (Php480)
☆☆☆☆☆
Two eggs, bacon strips, pork sausage, ham, hash browns, two buttermilk pancakes, bake beans and grilled tomato

The pancakes are fluffy and milky. I think it is the best pancake I've tasted. Although, if you guys know another restaurant that served great pancakes, let me know!
Baby BackRibs (Php 495)
☆☆☆☆☆
with honey-bourbon barbecue sauce. served with mashed potato and sweet corn

Seafood Fettuccine (Php380)
☆☆☆

Of course, no birthday celebrations without a cake.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
A trip to Bag of Beans is definitely worth it.
