After 4 years, I finally got a chance to catch up with a very good friend of mine. We had dinner in Greenbelt and decided to eat in Cafe Mary Grace to indulge my pasta cravings.
Since both of us gained weight from the last time we saw each other until May 19 2017, we decided to order a salad to share. But things escalated quickly as we looked at the menu. We wanted to order everything.
We ended up ordering a salad, a sandwich, a pasta, and a cake. Are we really on a diet or are we just kidding ourselves? I think the latter best fits us.
The servings look small in the picture because the dishes (except the dessert) were split into two.

Vigan Longganisa and Kesong Puti Sandwich

I was kinda surprised that it tastes good. I always eat longganisa with rice. But the flavors of this sandwich mix well

Chocolate Cake Ala Mode

I don't usually eat icings, but this one is so good. Thick chocolate icing paired with the vanilla ice cream is perfect. But this is definitely good for sharing. It is too sweet to be eaten alone.
At the end of the day, the gained weight was worth it since I had a lot of laughs from a good friend.
Cafe Mary Grace did not disappoint. Every dish was so delicious. Worth the calories!!!
